How to Shop for the Best CBD in the U.S.

If you live in the U.S., I want to share with you 3 quick tips of how to shop for the best quality CBD.

Tip #1: Shop at a Dispensary that sells CBD.

Dispensaries are state-regulated physical stores. They usually sell medical marijuana. They may also sell CBD. They need to meet certain quality standards to stay in business. This is why it is better to buy from a dispensary. Now, if you decide to shop online for CBD, just be aware it is not as regulated. This leads me to tip #2.

Tip #2: Go to a website called U.S. Hemp Authority.

The website is http://www.ushempauthority.org/certified-companies

This website lists certified companies that sell CBD online. These companies have been certified. This means they have met certain quality standards. For example, I heard podcaster Tim Ferris recommend CBD oil before. He recommended a company called Charlotte’s Web. So, I went to U.S. Hemp Authority’s website. And I found that Charlotte’s Web was listed there. I know this company has gone through a rigorous certification process to meet certain quality standards.

Tip #3: Check for a Certificate of Analysis (COA).

This certificate is a lab report that tested for the amounts of CBD in your product. It will also tell you the amounts of THC (marijuana) and other ingredients as well. This will ensure you know exactly what is in your CBD. The Certificate of Analysis is usually found on the company website. Your CBD box may have a code on it. You can enter this code into the website to pull up the report.
